The main areas of activity are:

• implementation of training programs and projects aimed at developing the personnel of Russian enterprises and organizations;
• increasing the competitiveness of firms operating in the modern market;
• promoting the establishment and support of international contacts, implementation of "Business to Business" programs»;
• providing information and consulting assistance to entrepreneurs (including on staff recruitment and training);
• conducting marketing and scientific research; implementing programs and projects that promote the implementation of the policy of equal rights and opportunities, including: forming public opinion on the need to support the policy of gender equality;
• promoting the implementation of the policy of gender equality in the economic, political and humanitarian spheres;
• promoting women in all spheres of society at the level of political and economic decision-making.

To achieve these goals, the following tasks are performed:

• annual International conferences "Women changing the world" (for 20 years), international women's forum,
• International women's conference "East and West meet in St. Petersburg" (3 years);
• annual exhibitions and presentations "Women's project»;
• holidays of health and active lifestyle "Women's ten»;
• campaigns dedicated to women's health issues, including " March in red»;
• seminars, round tables; master classes (differentiated for different groups of the population, including women with disabilities and women with children with disabilities, women who are released from prison or left without work, etc.)

The Rector of St. Petersburg social and economic Institute, the candidate of philosophical Sciences - Elena Kalinina is the chairman of the public organization "Women's Alliance", uniting more than 30 women's organizations of St. Petersburg, member of the Public chamber of St. Petersburg, President of the Interregional public organization of older women "Club 33.6 million", chief editor of the magazine "Club 33,6 million".
